Bruce Ivery PDF Print
Image Stylish, innovative, and creative are just only a few words to describe Bruce Ivery and his music. It all began early in life for him, with a father whom owned a nightclub in the suburb of Maywood, IL and an uncle who was a jazz and blues musician. Bruce took in all of this and made it his own, and at the age of eleven received his first pair of turntables.
Over time those turntables evolved into drum machines and later into computer software with hardware controllers, a producer and engineer where born! Bruce went on to produce a multitude of songs and instrumentals in different genres. Bruce received recognition with a jazzy original composition entitled “35 Dollars” that hit the Chicago steppers scene with phenomenal results. Bruce eventually moved to Saint Louis where his production and engineering skills played a very critical roll in many young artist careers.
While there Bruce had the luxury and pleasure of working with such artists as PayBak and King Jacob (Derty Ent.). Other opportunities also included work at major studios in Saint Louis such as Jupiter Studios and Pretty Boy Studios and with producers like Orlando of Pretty Boy who has done work for Mary J. Blige and Arista Records. Bruce now works close at hand with long time friend and mentor David “BOOGIE NITE” Dean where they head up Urban Legendz Production Group, based in Chicago, and is part of the ever so popular organization, THE CHUCK BROTHERS. Bruce Ivery is that stylish, innovative, and creative Master of the Trade that will show and prove that he is a force to be reckoned with now and for many more years to come.
